Alejandro Becerra

Alejandro is a Mechanical Engineer from the Universidad de los Andes, where he obtained his degree in 2015. He has taken Intellectual Property courses at the same university and also an Advanced Course on Patent Information Search at the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). Within his professional practice he has been able to work in various engineering sectors. In 2015 he worked in the R&D area of ​​a Colombian company focused on the development of protection elements for motorcyclists. From 2016 to 2018, he worked as a Technical Associate in the patent area of ​​the firm Olarte Moure & Asociados, performing tasks of searching, drafting and prosecution of engineering patents both in Colombia and in other jurisdictions. From 2018 to2021, he served as Technical Director at the company Xenital, a company focused on the acquisition of spatial information for asset control. There he was in charge of directing field operations, communication with customers and suppliers, and technical support for the company's operations. Since 2021, he has worked as a patent specialist at Cavelier Abogados, where his practice has focused on management and integral advice, related to patent searches,drafting, prosecution and litigation for both national and foreign clients.
