Biography
Eduardo Varela Pezzano is a Partner in Cavelier Abogados’ Bogota and Medellin offices, and head of the Firm’s Trademark, Entertainment Law and Copyright Practice Groups. Eduardo leads the Trademark Practice Group at Cavelier, and represents large-scale national and international trademark portfolios in a broad range of industries (food & beverage, fashion & apparel, pharmaceuticals, agrochemicals, software, technology, entertainment, sports, etc.). Every year, Eduardo handles hundreds of successful trademark applications, oppositions, international designation refusals and appeals at the Colombian Trademark Office. Eduardo is a member of INTA, ASIPI and MARQUES.
